**MLL is looking for Rookie Coaches and volunteers for the 2024 Season. **

Rookie is for players born September 2015 - August 2017

Registration is now closed (was open February - mid-April)

Rookie Spring House League (MLL vs MLL) May-June 2024
Registration: Registration for 2024 Rookie will open March 2024.
Age: Rookie is for players born September 2015 - August 2017
Program: Coach Pitch
              Spring Season is a House League season, where MLL teams will practice together and play games vs. other MLL teams.
              Spring Season is suitable for beginners and experienced players alike.
Schedule: Mid-May to the end of June
               Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00pm
Location: Fields in Beckwith, Carleton Place
Equipment: Included in fee: Ball cap, dry fit jersey
              Equipment required: Baseball glove, helmet, running shoes.
              Team bats will be provided.
              Optional: Baseball pants, batting gloves, bat (USA approved)
              NO METAL CLEATS

Rookie Summer Interlock July-August 2024
**PROGRAM DEPENDANT ON SUFFICIENT REGISTRATION AND QUALIFIED COACH SELECTION
**Try outs may apply, dependent on registration
Registration: Registration for 2024 Rookie Summer Interlock will open June 2024.
Age: Rookie is for players born September 2011 - August 2013
Program: Coach Pitch
              MLL Summer Rookie teams will interlock with Districts 2 and 6, playing a more serious game of baseball.
              Summer Interlock is suitable for committed players wanting a higher level of play and a more serious game.
Schedule: July-August
               Practices/Games TBD 
               Tournament(s) TBD
Location: Kanata, Ottawa West, Nepean, Barhaven, Orleans
Equipment: Included in fee: Ball cap, dry fit jersey
              Equipment required: Baseball glove, helmet, running shoes.
              Team bats will be provided.
