The Summer season runs July 2 - End of August
MLL offers Summer Rookie, Minor, Major, Junior and Senior (no Tball or Kinder).
For the Summer season, District policy is that players must have been registered in Little League during the Spring season. Players that do not meet this standard who wish to register for Summer game play should reach out to their Division Convenor for consideration.
Players must play in their designated Little League age division with proof of age.
For the Summer Season, MLL interlocks with D2 (Kanata, Ottawa West, East Nepean, etc) to play home and away games. There are usually 2 games per week. It's much like the Spring season, but MLL teams play with other Associations instead of only other MLL teams.
Sort outs will determine what tier MLL teams are entered in.
The number of players registered will determine if try outs apply (to ensure proper team sizes).
All teams are dependent on Coach registration.
Games are on weeknights and can vary week to week but typically 2 games are played each week. Players can expect one practice per week on average, timing dependent on coach availability. The whole season’s schedule is available by the first week.
Registration will open May 15 2024.
No refunds will be offered after June 15 2024.
Game Play will begin the first week of July.
